A gorgeous bush and an authentic Thai basil flavor. Attractive purple stems and blooms which are edible. Called “Horapha” in its mother country, “Hun Que” in Vietnam. Try it as a flavorful garnish for sweet dishes. Green, 2″ long leaves have a spicy, anise/clove flavor. Ht. 16–20″. Likes sun and moderately rich, moist soil. Basil is not drought tolerant and can be damaged by heat stress. Regular moisture throughout the growing season helps to ensure a good crop.
All of our seedlings are germinated by us from NON-GMO seeds, come in 4″ pots, and like all of our products – Georgia Grown in Cleveland, Georgia!!!
