Our cattle and other ruminants eat grass and roam freely for their entire life and is more humane for the animal and more environmentally sustainable for our land. Our cows graze on pastures year-round and are 100% grassfed, along with our sheep and goats.
All cattle at White Oak Pastures are grass-fed and grass-finished. Processed in our on-farm, USDA-inspected, zero-waste processing abattoir, our beef never leaves our possession until it’s en route to our customers. All of our steaks, roasts, organs, and bones are hand-butchered the old-fashioned way: by a man with a knife.
Our cattle are Certified Grassfed by the American Grassfed Association. All of our livestock are raised without the use of antibiotics, steroids, and added growth hormones.
