The first Europeans to consume chocolate were members of the Spanish royal family after returning conquistadors brought cacao from the Americas to the Spanish court as a novelty and treasure. Chocolate was a rich, fortifying and spiritual drink for centuries before it went through its evolution into bar form.

This powdered drinking chocolate is in the European tradition–made of rich, ground chocolate (not cocoa powder) that we made with just Nicaraguan cacao and organic cane sugar. Three recipes are included so that you can make a European-styled sipping chocolate, a drinking chocolate or an American-styled hot chocolate.

Cancellations affect farmer/vendor earnings. If you must cancel an order farmers/vendors need at least 48 hours notice. Only exception is an emergency and we will work with you. Returns or exchanges on a case by case basis within 48 hours of receiving product.
