Every home needs an aloe plant! Instant first aid for burns and other skin issues, and easy to keep happy. Last time I had to cut off a leaf was after I clumsily spilt hot coffee on my belly, so I cut off a leaf, trimmed the spiky sides off and sliced it in half horizontally. It’s soothing and cooling effect kept my skin from blistering. So if you don’t have one, now’s your chance! These babies vary in size, and have come from my 14 year old Mama plant. Just keep inside for winter, above 45 degrees, not much water is required. In summer they can go back outside to soak up some sunshine. They grow in sun or shade.
