Sourdough Starter Kit – Breadtopia

Everyone starts somewhere.

And here we are, with decades of baking wisdom under our belt, sharing with you the creation of our very own Breadtopia sourdough starter kit. It has nothing more or less than what you need to keep, maintain or begin your sourdough journey.

For starters, we include a custom manufactured, perfectly sized, straight-walled glass jar with a thoughtfully designed lid that keeps contaminants out but lets air in; a rubber o-ring to mark your starter’s pre-expansion level after feeds, and a silicone spatula to mix starter and clean the jar sides. Then it wouldn’t be complete without our own hearty strain of Dry Sourdough Starter with instructions on how to prepare it for baking.

The jar volume is 700 ml, which is a tad shy of 3 cups.
