**Special Event** Sourdough Class – October 6th 1pm to 2:30 pm
Learn to make sourdough! An introductory course taught through a combination of demonstrations and brief hands-on elements to provide the basics of baking sourdough bread at home.Â
Our local expert, Pat Gibbon, will demonstrate how to make sourdough from start to finish, discuss sourdough starters and maintenance, and provide recipes to use sourdough in different ways.
Students take away a jar of starter, recipes and other tips/ handouts to make you a successful sourdough baker. We’ll sample sourdough breads with dipping oils as a light snack. After the class, we’ll walk over to Living Well Farmers Market and you will receive a special discount of sourdough book and supplies. Class will take place in the Siena Apartments Clubhouse.
