Pink celery is small in size with elongated, slender stalks and frilly, flat, deeply lobed leaves. The thin stalks are firm, smooth, hollow, and pale pink to bright fuchsia. Connected to the pink stalks, the leaves have serrated edges with generally three lobes and are bright green with a crisp, vegetal flavor. Pink celery is highly aromatic, more pungent in taste, and is smaller in size than European celery. When raw, Pink celery is crunchy with a robust herbal flavor, and when cooked, the stalks soften and become sweet, tender, and crisp.
Our greens and herbs are grown in our greenhouse located in Ball Ground, GA. We grow in Commercial Tower Gardens or special racks. We grow small batches and like to harvest and get our product to your table as soon as we can! We want you to share the pure joy of the freshest local greens you can get. We grow our seasonal produce in a 2-acre field located on the property. We love to have people come visit the farm!
Many of our products are delivered “root on”. This helps extend the life of the produce. We recommend that you do not refrigerate the root on products but rather sit in them in a small dish of water on the counter. They will typically stay fresh for days!
We use only products that meet the standards of the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI).
